By Anonymous Los Angeles, CA January 26 2004--Ultra Custom Boats of El Cajon, Ca has choosen to use models from the Kwicherbichen Bikini Team for promotion at the 2004 Los Angeles Boat Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Ultra used models from the Kwicherbichen Bikini Team last year to model clothing for their website and they were very happy with the results. This year Ultra wanted to create a promotional poster for customers and decided to use members from the team once again. John West, the owner of Ultra Custom Boats, was so pleased with the poster he decided to use the models for live promotion at upcoming boat shows for 2004.
Ultra Custom Boats is a cutting edge performance boat builder in Southern California and has had boats featured on such television shows as Monster Garage and Fear Factor. The Kwicherbichen Bikini Team is a recenlty created promotional group and brain child of Brian Sawyer and photographer Kim Riley. The team includes 22 models from California and Arizona. Sawyer noted that, although the bikini team is relatively new it is getting a lot of attention world wide. With hot performance boats and hot models, a partnership between these two cutting edge companies seems natural.
To see the 2004 line-up of Ultra Custom Boats or members of the Kwicherbichen Bikini Team you can visit the Los Angeles Boat Show at the Convention Center. Although Ultra will be offering boats the entire duration of the show, members of the bikini team will only be in attendance on the weekends. Ultra will have limited quanities of the poster on hand for the models to sign for customers.

By News Canada (NC) —If you're a sailor, there are few things as precious as your boat. Power or sail, whatever the size, your boat is your escape, your refuge, your palace. Below are a few tips on protecting that refuge from old man winter.
Boat In the Water
Fill fuel tanks, add stabilizer.
Change engine oil and filters, always using brand name products from known marine specialists, like Castrol.
Winterize head, holding tank and fresh water system by draining or filling with non-toxic anti-freeze.
Winterize any other water using equipment.
Remove electronics, antennas and couplers. Spray and tape exposed cables.
Service cradle if necessary.
Boat On Dry Land
Lubricate or grease all systems requiring such.
Pump bilges completely dry, rinse with cleaner, empty again.
Charge batteries fully. Disconnect if leaving on boat.
Winterize engine and cooling system. Drain all water from engine block and any stern drives. Replace with storage antifreeze.
Clean fridge and/or ice box thoroughly.
Use mildewcide or anti-fungus products liberally.
Leave lockers and hatches open where possible. Leave bilge access open.
Be sure the entire boat has access to plenty of fresh air.
And if you're really gung-ho, you can do all that important exterior stuff like varnishing and washing the hull.
A wealth of interesting and valuable information on motor oils and lubricants can be found at www.castrolcanada.com or other well known petroleum web sites.
